Claydate at Chamotte is an event created especially for Members, giving them the opportunity to share their passion for pottery with someone from outside the Collective.

This is your chance to show a friend where you spend your creative time, introduce them to the world of ceramics, and create something together. Whether they just want to try it out or are curious to learn more, this is a special time for you to share the experience. You’ll have the entire Studio at your disposal.

Who: 1 Member + 1 Guest
Can we work on the wheel? - 1 wheel per couple
What happens to the works created by guests? The Member who brings a guest is responsible for the entire process - storage, drying, firing, glazing - just like with their own work.
Access time: The Member’s time in the Studio counts as their regular access time, this is not an extra activity.

A Chamotte Team Member will be present in the Studio throughout the event, but this is not a supervised practice session. Please understand that we allow guests in the Studio only during official Claydates, and we are not able to offer individual opportunities to bring guests at any other time.
